See both of the companies you have mentioned are one of the reputed Institutes in India. But if you wish to consider a difference then there is a great difference in terms of placements. IIEST Shibpur didn't have a great placement rate although most of the students get recruited but the salary packages offered are quite low. Compared to that JMI Delhi have a better scope to offer in terms of placement. Also if you go for IIEST Shibpur then as per the reviews the core branch companies are very less so as a result you have to go for IT or CSE companies. Incase youre inclined towards research, there can be no better place than IIEST Shibpur. IIEST is perhaps only some of the few technical institutes with an excellently strong Alumini Base, a strong Academic and Employer Outlook. Ofcourse, if youre obsessed with the NIT Tag as well as CSE Stream, NIT Patna.. Do even check if youre getting CSE/IT/ECE at BIT Mesra, that too is an excellent option, much better than Average NITs.
