Which is a better choice for an UP resident VIT or SNU ? According to Placement and Fees ?
Hi aspirant,
The location of college should not matter if you wish to pursue education of the best quality. As per my opinion you should go with Vellore institute of technology if you get your desired seat under first or second category. Shiv Nadar University has shown some amazing performance in academics and placements in recent years but is still growing. The faculties at both the institutions are highly trained and qualified but you get better teacher to student ratio at SNU as VIT is highly populated.
Note - You should prefer SNU in case seat allotment in VIT is at higher category as it will provide a better return of investments.
Hope it helps!!

Please explain about admission process to Shiv Nadar University for BTech programs. Do they take through SNUSAT or JEE Mains in 2021?
Hello Aspirant ,
To get admission into SNU , Noida for B.Tech programs you can take admission via 4 routes , i.e, based on SNUSAT , JEE Mains and also SAT. If you have obtained greater than 80-85 percentile in JEE mains , you can get direct admission into the 6 streams of engineering. The basic eligibility criteria for getting B.Tech is an aggregate of 70% in Math , Physics , Chemistry and English with a minimum of 50% in each subject. If you get less than 80 percentile in JEE Mains , you can write the SNUSAT ( Aptitude Test) and APT (Academic Proficiency Test) and if shortlisted can get admission. They also accept valid SAT and ACT scores depending on the cutoffs followed by PI.

Ive got into computer science core in both SNU chennai (Shiv Nadar University) and SRM Kattankulathur. Which one would you recommend?
Dear aspirant,
I would choose SRM kattangkulathur over shiv Nadar university because the any greater noida has a better brand name facilities available than snu chennai.
Further SRM main campus and that too core computer science branch has strong placements. Tech giants like Amazon, microsoft, paypal, directi comes to the campus for placements. In addition to that in SRM if you would get a rank under 2.5k in your srmjee then you would get a discount of 1L from tuition fees that is you have to pay 1.5 L instead of 2.5 lakhs. There is also available that you will be able to grab full remission of your tuition fees.
In snu chennai the total fees (tuition) is 9.25 L nothing too less than SRM chennai so ROI factor is also not good there. So, it is SRM for me.
Can I get admission in Shiv Nadar University only on basis of class 12 marks? I want CS branch and my PCM aggregate is 85 percent and overall 90 percent. What is the procedure?
Dear aspirant,
Shiv Nadar University ( SNU) is a private research university established in 2011 and is located in Greater Noida. It is recognized by UGC and is ranked 56 in latest nirf rankings.
Admission to B.Tech courses is offered through candidate's performance in 10+2 examination followed by SNUSAT. You can also get a direct admission through your jee main score if it is greater than or equal to 120. You can apply for SNUSAT on the official website- https://snu.edu.in/
