yes there are companies coming in to give away placements to the students in siddaganga institute of technology . companies like microsoft , sony , l&t , bel , oracle , jindal steel also come here during placements . the average package is 4-4.5lakh per annum .

For your rank you have no chance to get admission at Siddaganga institute of technology , but you may get Admission at  vivekananda institute of technology, appa institute of engineering, Reva Univeristy and Alva’s institute of engineering! 

All of the above mentioned colleges are average colleges with average placements,faculty and facilities

Placements are not that great in terms of the kind of package or the companies that visit the campus. But mass recruiters like TCS visit every year and that way most students get placed. Of course, some good companies like VMware, Microsoft etc.do visit and hire, but the number is less. CS and Info Science guys get better package compared to other branches (which is what happens in any college). So, if placements are the only concern prefer some Bangalore college. If you want  peaceful life and less expenses then prefer Tumkur.

Average package is 3.5lpa and highest package offered is 30lpa.

Your score chances around 12000 is there, based on last year data, so just check with the comedk engineering cut off details of last year to get a crude idea of which colleges you can get ECE, but note as demand for ECE is increasing year by year, this year the cut off may increase to higher rank, making it more dificult to get. but still you may make it to JSS, East west or GMR in Bangalore.
