I am male student in unreserved category. My 12th percentages of best four is 97.75 including English and Economics. can I get admission in BA Economic (H) course at DU in SRCC, HINDU COLLEGE OR Kirori mal college
Hey!
For admission to the B.A.(Honours) Economics, candidates must have studies and passed mathematics. Having studied and passing in mathematics in 12th boards is a pre requisite to get admission in this course. Any college of Delhi University will grant admission to this course only if the candidate is eligible and meet the cut off.
Some colleges have released their first cut off lists for various subjects. For B.A.(Hons.) Economics, Hindu College has kept 99.75%, SRCC has indicated 100%, Kirori Mal College has put up 99.50, Hansraj College has put up 99.75 and Ramjas College has put up 99.75 as the percentage eligibility for admission in this course. To keep up to date with the upcoming cut offs of Delhi University, check out the link given below.
All the best!
I got 99.5 marks in best 4,will i get admission in Ba Eco hons. in SRCC as some people are saying cut off will touch 100%?
Hello,
You haven't mentioned your category. Assuming that you belong to general category last year the cut off for general category was 99 marks for admission to BA (Hons) Economics in Shri Ram College of Commerce. Considering the previous year cut off you have decent chances of getting seat in BA (Hons) Economics in SRCC. It is difficult to predict the cut off for this year because it depends on various factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
To know the colleges in which you have chances of getting seat you may use our DU College Predictor Tool

Greetings of the day dear aspirant
The cutoff trends changes every year and it depends on the number of students appearing in the examination, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc.
The closing percentage for Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) at Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) was 94.5% for the first round counseling in the year 2020 for Scheduled Tribe (ST) Category. It was 86% in fourth round and 84.5% in the fifth round cutoff. With your mentioned percentage, you can try to secure a seat in last 2 rounds of the counseling for SRCC College.

if I get a choice between BMS from SSCBS and Eco Hons from Srcc or Bcom hons from a similar institute, then which one should I choose, my Goal , for now at least , is to do MBA and then get into finance sector
Hi,
Hope you are doing well.
SRCC is superior. It is one of the greatest commerce colleges in the country. Sri Ram College of Commerce offers bcom honours and economic honours, whereas Sukhdev College offers BMS and BBA. However, I strongly advise you to enrol in SRCC. It is the greatest business school in the country. It is also in the north campus area, so you will be able to experience college life. Sukhdev, on the other hand, is an off-campus college. Because it is the most popular college, the placements at srcc are also better. You should never drop an option to get into a school like srcc.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck!
Can I get admission in SRCC or Hansraj for any course without maths...If not then which college is best In DU?
Hello, hope you are doing well!
To answer your question, Delhi University Colleges provide varied courses. You just need to meet the cut off requirement. There are courses where mathematics is mandatory like B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc Mathematics,B.Sc. Electronics, B.Sc Physics, etc. Other than these courses which require mathematics , you can get admission in many other courses like ba or ba hons programme. There are many options.
Hansraj and SRCC are among the top colleges of Du. There are other prestigious colleges as well like St.Stephen's College, Hindu College, Miranda House and many more.
