According to your TNEA rank you will get seat in Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College for Bio Medical and Engineering and Chemical Engineering whereas in SVCE you will get courses like Information Technology,EEE,Mechanical Engineering,Civil Engineering and slight chances in CSE and ECE.

        With 7361 overall rank and 4359 community rank rank in TNEA, you can get EEE in some of the top colleges.Chances of getting a seat in ECE branch in the top colleges under Anna University is difficult with your rank. I would rather call it a wise choice if you wanted to get into Annauniversity affliated colleges. Because there isn't much of a difference between SSN and SVCE.

In all aspects such as placements, exposure, teaching and even with respect to distance, both the colleges more or less score the same. Apart from the beautiful campus at SSN, both the colleges don't differ so much.

Looking at your question, give your first priority to  SSN. Give it your best shot. If you get through it, it's great. If not, SVCE is an unregretful decision.
