I got 496 marks these year(2024) can I get medical seat in all India quota i belong to muslim minority
With a NEET score of 496 and belonging to the Muslim minority category, you have a good chance of securing an MBBS seat.
The Muslim minority quota offers a significant advantage in the admission process. However, the exact college you can get depends on various factors:
- State-wise Cutoffs: Cutoffs vary significantly between states.
- College Preferences: Your preferred location and college type will influence your options.
- Counseling Process: Your performance during the counseling process is crucial.
Potential Options:
- Central Universities: Explore options like Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI).
- State Quota: Participate in the counseling process of your home state to avail the Muslim minority quota benefits.
- Private Medical Colleges: Consider private medical colleges that offer the Muslim minority quota.
Remember:
- Competition: While the Muslim minority quota is beneficial, competition for medical seats is still high.
- Counseling: Actively participate in the counseling process to secure your seat.
- Document Verification: Ensure all necessary documents are ready for verification.
By exploring these options and effectively participating in the counseling process, you can increase your chances of securing an MBBS seat.
I got 21484 rank in ap eapcet 2024 I am an bipc student oc category I also ews certificate can I get b pharmacy government seat could anyone please tell if I get paid seat how much will it cost for overall 4 years is my rank not good could anyone please help me
Hello student
Congratulations on securing a rank in AP EAPCET 2024! Based on your rank, category, and stream, here's a general analysis:
- Rank 21484 is a decent rank, but the competition for government seats in B. Pharmacy is high.
- As an OC category student with an EWS certificate, you may have a chance for a government seat, but it depends on the seat matrix and competition.
- B. Pharmacy government seats are limited, and the cutoff ranks vary each year.
To estimate the possibility of getting a government seat, let's consider the previous year's cutoffs:
- In 2023, the last rank for OC category in B. Pharmacy was around 18000-20000.
- With your rank (21484), it might be challenging to get a government seat, but it's not impossible.
If you don't get a government seat, you may consider paid seats. The cost of a paid seat for B. Pharmacy in AP varies depending on the college and location. Here's an approximate estimate for 4 years:
- Tuition fee: 50,000 - 1,50,000 per annum (depending on the college)
- Total tuition fee for 4 years: 2,00,000 - 6,00,000
- Additional costs (hostel, mess, etc.): 1,00,000 - 2,00,000 (approximate)
Keep in mind that these estimates may vary.
To improve your chances, consider the following:
- Check the seat matrix and cutoffs for previous years to understand the competition.
- Look for colleges that have a lower cutoff rank and apply accordingly.
- Be prepared for counseling and have a list of preferred colleges ready.
Remember, this is just an analysis based on general trends. The actual outcome may vary. Stay positive and focus on your options. Good luck!

hi im totally confused . i get 31k.rank.bio medical engineering seat bc a category
hello student
I understand your confusion. Getting a rank of 31k for Biomedical Engineering (BE) under BC-A category can make predicting your admission chances a bit tricky. Here's why:
- Cutoff Ranks Fluctuate: Cut off ranks for colleges change every year depending on the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and the number of available seats.
- Limited Data: Without access to the latest SJBIT cutoffs for BE (BC-A), it's difficult to say definitively whether your rank will secure you a seat.
However, I can help you navigate this by exploring some possibilities:
Scenario 1: Scoring a Seat at SJBIT
- Previous Years' Cutoffs: If you can find previous year cutoffs for SJBIT's BE (BC-A) program, you can compare your rank and gauge your chances. Ideally, the cutoff should be lower than your rank for a good possibility of getting a seat.
- Contact SJBIT Admissions: The most reliable way is to directly contact the SJBIT admissions office. They can provide the latest cutoffs and advise on your chances with your rank.
Scenario 2: Exploring Other Options
If securing a seat at SJBIT seems unlikely, here are some alternative options:
- Other Colleges: Look for other colleges offering BE (Biomedical) with a good reputation and that accept BC-A category students. You can find a list of colleges through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) website.
- Second Round of Counseling: Some colleges might have vacant seats after the first round of counseling. You can participate in the second round to see if you qualify for any available seats.
Don't lose hope! There are many good colleges offering BE (Biomedical) and your rank will definitely get you a seat in one of them.
