For good Engineering Colleges it is mandatory to appear in competitive exam because as per cbse scheme all Engineering colleges prefer JEE Main aspirant or any state competitive exams. If you could tell me what you have done other 12th, I can give more suggestions!

You'll need a cutoff of above 185 to get a good college, if you're General category. Any reservation will be helpfull. Good colleges like PSG have a cutoff above 195. For St Joseph college, you can get CE, EC, EEE, IT and ME. CS has a higher cutoff there.

So, you can not expect that Studnet of the year college life instead you will feel like you are still studying in a school. Pros:
- Mess food is really awesome
- Highly graduated teachers with good academic
- Every note and academic is already shared with the students.

- The placement cell of the college works well for the placement of the students and provides a good number of opportunities.
- Maximum no. Of exams are taken that helps students in scoring good marks.
Cons:
- Very harsh and judgemental if the candidate doesn't take studies properly and act miserably, breaks the rules and regulations
- Strict attendance policy
- A school experience rather than college life.
- Sometimes Saturdays are also under working days.
