For admissions in M.A Political Science, candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 education pattern with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate of Social Sciences subjects and at least 55 per cent marks aggregate of Science & Technology subjects.

• Five copies of recent passport size photographs

• Character Certificate from last attended institution

• Two sets of self-attested copies of (10+2), or an equivalent examination certificate showing the age/date of birth of the candidate.

• Two sets of self-attested copies of the statement of marks obtained by the candidate along with passing certificate of Degree/Master’s Degree examination or their equivalent examination

• For SC/ST Candidates: Two attested copies of SC/ ST Certificate in the prescribed format in support of their claim for admission against the reserved quota.
  Candidate should bring original caste/category certificate at the time of admission/registration

• For PWD Candidates: Two copies of Disability Certificate in the prescribed Format issued by a Competent Medical Authority indicating the nature and extent (including percentage) of Physical Disability in support.

• OBC Candidates: Two copies of OBC Certificate in the prescribed format.
  Candidate should bring original caste/category certificate at the time of admission/registration.

see transfer certificate is needed if you change the college in middle of your course. however since you would take admission after completing your studies so there is no need of any transfer certificate. however the important documents to carry for document verification and admission process,

academic mark sheets, 10th, 12th graduations all semesters as well as the provisional certificate.

Yes, absolutely you can. State universities don't prevent other state students to get admissions. You can definitely apply to the college and if you meet the cut-off you are ready to go.

Kindly look for that and dont look for the whole name Punjabi University and if it's still not there kindly choose the others options and mention the name of your university separately. You must have a BA (H) degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Then only you will able take admission in MA with same (Sociology ) honours .But as per you query you had complete your graduation in Hindi and Sanskrit without honours of sociology in BA .So you will not take admission in same .

No there is no such problem yet about this. As this NBA accreditation is good for college . They show the college reputations and facilities. And give NBA accreditations . So it not much suffer on your studies. And there is no such thinking of NBA accreditation.

Actually it is completely depend upon the institute and the merit and skills of the students. It doesn't matter that if it is a deemed university, the placement rate will high.

Some government institutes also have very high placement rate like IITs NITs GMCs etc.

If we analysis simply both then state university and deemed university – are both under the UGC in many ways, though they have their own style of functioning. State universities have their own syllabic, fees structures, and student base. The fact that most of them have been around for quite a while has its own appeal, along with the fact that they are associated with the state and not against a private group or trust and another part ..

Deemed universities have their own appeal and their own base of students. They may not have the umbrella of association with the state, but they make up for that with advanced course ware that is designed keeping the current industry trends, job market place and student’s future in mind.
