Im an arts student and i want to pursue BA in history in jadavpur university Kolkata but Im really confused about what entrance exam i need to give for that. Can somebody help
Hello Aspirant
The admission procedure for Jadavpur University is pretty easy. First, you need to fill out their admission forms (400/- for the Gen category and 200/- for SC/ST). After filling out their form, you'll be asked to sit for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. For final selection, Jadavpur University gives 50% weightage to your marks in the entrance exam (WBJEE) and 50% weightage to the marks the candidate has secured in the 12th-grade board exams.
The total number of seats available for a BA History course at Jadavpur University is 50.
Hope this helps

If, I am a west bengal student and I was completed my 10 class in West Bengal bord. And, i will give 11 exam in west bengal, but I want to give 12 exam in tripura. so, is it possible or not?
To avail the home state quota in NITs, where you have completed your 11th and 12th from the school of that state, in that state's NIT will be eligible.
In West Bengal they do have WBJEE Counselling process, To avail the home state quota reservation in west bengal the eligibility criteria is as follows:
-
Should have been a permanent resident of West Bengal for 10 consecutive years as of December 31, 2023.
-
Candidates will also be considered eligible if their parents are permanent residents of the state with a permanent residential address.
Thanks
Noida International University NIU, Greater Noida what is the Student Counts, Faculty and courses?
Im a female student of EWS category from state odisha. My NTA score is 80.82 . What does that mean and whats my percentile. can I get any NIT or IIIT?
With an NTA score of 80.82, your percentile is approximately around 95-96, but the exact percentile can vary slightly depending on the exam's overall performance. Based on this score, getting into top NITs or IIITs may be challenging, especially for competitive branches like CSE or ECE. However, you may have a chance in other branches or in newer NITs/IIITs. It's advisable to check the previous year's cutoff trends for accurate predictions based on your specific score.

Sir if OBC student gets 81 percentile in which college will get free seat
Hello aspirant,
There may be a greater probability of you receiving a seat with the OBC and home state quota, it is extremely difficult to get with such a rank.
Selecting a very low rank NIT core branch won't benefit you in any way.
Therefore, I advise you to give preference to state engineering institutes. Some public engineering colleges are far superior to even moderately ranked NITs.
Furthermore, I would advise you to participate in JoSAA and complete every round, even the spot round.
Thank you
Hope it helps you.
