The structure of a hostel room can depend from hostel to hostel but in general, a hostel room includes basic furniture such as beds, study tables, chairs, and wardrobes or shelves. The number of students that can live in one room also varies but it's usually shared between two or three students. As for choosing your own room, it might not depend on your choice as there are a lot of students and everyone cannot be allowed to choose.
