As per your querry, i would say that NEET got nothing to do with you becoming a Surgeon. Basically, NEET UG is an entrance examinatiom for admission to UG courses like MBBS, BDS, Ayush and Veterinary Courses.

To become a Cardiac surgeons need a lot of time. It is one of the longest process in the medical field. It requires four years of medical school, a 5-year general surgery residency and a 2-3 year specialized cardio or cardiothoracic fellowship. Surgeons who wish to specialize further in pediatric cardiology or heart transplant surgeries may require additional training. The highest in India is as of now in AIIMS and other Central colleges in 23500 every month for a duration of 12 months. So, other colleges might get in the range of 17k-20k as a guess even if not at par with AIIMS.

The eligibility criteria for the students to successfully apply for B.Sc. in Anaesthesia Technology is -

Dear Ashok, To become a cardiologist, you are required to go through a long period of medical studies for acquiring licensure and board certification. After the completion of 10+2 with PCB, you can continue your studies towards becoming the cardiologist. Steps leading to the cardiologist are as follows:
- Earns a bachelor degree with MBBS after 10+2.
- Get the admission in PG course leading to Doctor of Medicine (MD) in general medicine.
- After finishing three-year degree of MD, go for the super specialty course of 3-year DM in Cardiology to be a Cardiologist.
- MBBS (5 1/2 years) + MD (3 years) + DM in cardiology (3 years) = 11 1/2 years = Cardiologist
