Hello candidate,
It's a very individual choice which depends from person to person and how he wants to to get the help from his future partner, and how we can convince your family regarding your profession and whether they will support you or not it is a very difficult question to point out from a general perspective. if you have any other thoughts regarding any education related topics will be to post it here.
is it definitely law that a surgeon will work 48 hrs a week
Hi there,
According to judgement of court duty of residents doctors should not exceed 12 hours per day . Resident doctors are allowed one weekly holiday by rotation.
Junior resident doctors should ordinarily work for 48 hours per week and not more than 12 hours .
Working hour of day may be flexible according to workload and availability of doctors in hospital.
So maximum hour a doctor sshould is 48 hour per week it should not been more than that.
Hope it helps you
Good luck!
how can a female surgeon handle their 1 year old baby when they live alone with husband
Hello Aspirant!
Of course having children during residency is not easy or without problems. Gender plays a large role. Women who have a child during their post graduate 1 – 3 years report they are more likely to feel overwhelmed than female residents who do not have children. Both male and female surgical residents with children are more likely to report that their work hours create family strain.
Interestingly, surgical residents with children are more likely to look forward to work and more likely to be happy at work than those without children according to various stats. But became their life more difficult than earlier.
We cannot ignore the reality that surgery residents as well as female surgeons struggle to find a work-life balance. They have to handle their baby as well as complete household chores. During their home hours husbands should help their wife and take responsibility of house works. That will comfort their surgeon wife from the stressful day of work.
Good Luck!

How many days in a week does a surgeon who has completely Ms work 2 how many days in a week does resident work
Hey Aspirant!
On average general surgeon works 50-60 hours per week depending on the practice situation chosen, A Surgeon's shift may be anywhere from 12 to 28 hours long. In emergency situations or public health crises, their shifts may be longer. To make up for their long shifts, surgeons often work less than six days a week, with an average weekly schedule of four days.
Medical residencies usually require lengthy hours of trainees. Trainees are traditionally required to be present for set shifts, with the ending time of the shift dependent on momentary circumstances. The flexibility of this system makes it easy to abuse. For the residents works with typically includes call. On average most surgical residents work 40–80 hours a week depending on specialty and rotation within the specialty . On average any resident works about 10 hours a day when not on call.

Have A Great Day!
what is the maximum working hours of resident surgeon and a doctor who has completed Ms and what about holiday and day off
Dear aspirant !
Hope you are doing great ! In general if we talk about the holidays and working hours of a surgeon then i want to clear you that ,a surgeon has long shifts may be from 12 to 25 hours or may be some long. Due to their shift hours ,their average working days is 4 in a particular week ,but depending on condition , patient ,crisis ,it may less or more ,nothing can be said accurately . But being a doctor ,we should not focus on holidays ,as a doctor to save a patient should be out first and last duty . Surgeon has many lives in their hand ,so they ought to do their work honestly without looking at working hours. It is my personal opinion. Rest depend on you

from which month of pregnancy a female surgeon can start maternity leave
Hello candidate,
As the question is from a personal point of view it mostly depends on the particular individual on when she wants to apply for his leave- Some women begin taking their leave a week to a month before the expected birth because of discomfort or the desire for time to prepare whereas Others wait until the last moment so they can maximize their time with the baby once it arrives.
Hope you found it helpful. Good luck!!
Can a surgeon open his/her clinics ....not to do surgery .....rather as a physisian thought not persued MD
See the surgeons can open his/her clinic and there he/she can deal with the surgery related problems of the patients. Its not required that the surgery is required to be done but you can treat patients and can do the surgery in any other Nursing homes or Hospitals. Apart from this, the surgeons can also treat patients and prescribe medicine but its not appropriately visited by the patients for treatment of general disorders. So if you wish you can treat patients as you have completed your MBBS. After MS also you can do the same and there are no legal difficulties in it.
