Hello Kolluru,
In order to qualify for the NEET PG a candidate has to score a minimum of 50 percentile belonging to an unreserved category . reserved category candidate must secure at least 40 percentile . The corresponding marks to the qualification percentile depends on the number of people who are writing the exam and the relative performance of all the test takers.
Hope this was helpful
All the best, Thank you for contacting careers360.
how many marks should I obtain in neet for securing oral surgery under obc in a government college
Hello aspirant.
The cutoff for BDS typically tends to be lower than that for MBBS program. Also, note that the cutoff depends on a number of variables like the number of sanctions seats, applications received for admission, and performance of the applicants in NEET exam.
Further, depending on whether the candidate is seeking admission through state or central counselling conducted by MCC, the cutoff would vary,, as both will have a different set of applicants. That being said the cutoff for admission to 15% AIQ, central and demeed universities, and AFMS tend to be higher than for state quota seats.
You should atleast cross a score of 440+ to be at safer site of getting a seat.
Hope this will be helpful.
Regards.
Regarding counselling for 50% neet pg DU Internal seats If a get a seat in round 2 of pg counselling and if i left it within 2 days of result announcement, will i be eligible for mopup in my central institute like DU? and if suppose i left surgery then this Surgery seat will appear in mopup or not??
Hi,
Well if you left the seat and didn't take admission then that seat will reflect in the seats being announced for mop up round, no matter which type of seat it is. And yes you can sit for counseling in your central university as long as you have not taken admission else where.
I hope my answer helps.
All the best.
