Dear Student ,
Swayam Courses are basically provided by National Co-Ordinator like NPTEL, CEC, IGNOU etc. SWAYAM is a great initiative by Govt of India to provide certifications to candidates in different domains they want to choose.
Now the details of exam :
- Exams are in Offline and optional
- Learning courses are free of cost , but if anyone wants a certificate from SWAYAM , then they need to appear for exam in center
- Exam fees: Rs. 1000
- They need to pass both in Online Assignments(which they will get every week in enrolled course ) and Proctored exam

Hopefully you are doing great ! For gate exam to be cracked you need not to have a course or other thing ,you just need to have a proper planning ,mock tests , previous year paper and time that is very important ! When you will have all these nothing can stop you to crack this exam.
