I scored 87.96 percentile in CAT 2017. Can I expect a call from TAPMI with the following acads: Xth - 64.69%; XIIth - 76.70%; B.tech - 71.30
You have a high chance of getting an interview call from TAPMI if there is no major change in the selection criteria. Prepare Well.
All the best!
I have obtained 84.23%ile in CAT 2017. Can I be shorted in any of the colleges like TAPMI, BIM Trichy, LIBA, FORE School of Management?
You may try for PGDM - IB at FORE, for sure. Last year cut off has been 85 for PGDM and 78 for PGDM IB at FORE. LIBA isnt worth trying for (Cut off was 80) as the no. of seats for general is limited due to reservations. BIM Trichy cut off was 80 but better option is IFMR instead of BIM Trichy or LIBA.
MY CAT SCORE IS 109.53 AND PERCENTILE IS 87.12 WHAT ARE CHANCES IN K J SOMAYA ,NIRMA,IRMA,TAPMI,WIELNGKER, AND SP JAIN
SP Jain seems difficult at this score.
All the best!
I have scored 82.20 percentile in cat 2017. Any chance of clearing the tapmi cutoff???
But if you have a work experience then with your good profile you will have a good chance to get a chance of second round of interview and WSAT. Generally the cut off for work experience students is in between the range of 80-85 percentile.
All the best for your further process!!
i done my bsc in biotech from manipal university and want to apply for mba in healthcare management in TAPMI . what criteria they see ?
Hi Rishi! Unfortunately, TAPMI has discontinued the Healthcare Management programme. (Source: https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/careers360-live-chat-qa-session-dr-aditya-jadhav-admissions-chairman-tapmi)
If you are genuinely interested in Healthcare Management programme, you may weigh your options in the following institutes:
- IHMR Delhi & Jaipur
- Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences
- Goa Institute of Management
- GD Goenka University
- Amity University
- Vishwa Vishwani Institute of Management
- FMS (Part Time MBA, only for working executives)
Basically, they check your MBA entrance score and if you are shortlisted, you have to appear for the selection rounds including GD/WAT and PI. Academic records are also considered and work experience in the Healthcare sector would be an added advantage, but not mandatory for admission to the above mentioned institutes offering MBA in Healthcare Management.
