Yes the age limit is 18 years for appearing in TANCET.

Candidates belonging to General Category must have a minimum score of 50% marks in total whereas candidates from the reserved category need to have at least 45% in total in  the qualifying examination. The submitted online application form of TANCET 2022 can be rejected if any candidates do not meet the minimum eligibility criteria.

Yes, if you haven't registered for Gate, you can apply for the Tancet 2022 exam. The basic eligibility to apply for this exam is that :

• You must have passed  B.Tech/B.E. from a recognized institute in the relevant field and you must have secured 50% marks in the qualifying exam and for the reserved category, the marks are at least 45%.
• There is no specific age limit required to be eligible for this exam.

Anna University, Chennai will release the TANCET application form 2022 on the official website tentatively in January. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of TANCET 2022 beforehand. The authorities will conduct the TANCET 2022 exam for admission in M.Tech courses.

Further, for Eligibility criteria for Tancet exam 2022, follow as described below :

Domicile - Candidates should be residents of Tamil Nadu.
