My friend is Tamil Nadu SSLC passed. He intends to do a degree from TN Open University, without studying Higher Secondary. Is he eligible for SSC/RRB exams after he completes the said degree under Open Univ. scheme. Please guide us.

with out HSC , getting an admission in higher studies is impossible. Intermediate and Matric qualification is must for every candidate to go for higher studies which are career based. Candidates choose streams in which they can create and invest too. Without 10th score , no one can go to 12th. HSC is requirement to go SSC.

As you have mentioned that your neet score is 226 which indeed is not that bad and you fall under ST category which eventually increases your chances of fetching a seat..... See, if we look over previous years cutoff then let me bring this to your knowledge that many students at 217 secured a government seat for BHMS in the decent government colleges... But getting a free seat with this marks is almost negligible.... But if you hold the state domicile, then you would get a better college under state quota seats.... So, relax you may get a government seat for BHMS course, but will not get a free seat with those marks...

So for medical line, i would say its definitely a degree whatevr you do which mbbs or pg. Both are highly persuade and the most ambitious degree for students as you become a doctor after mbbs and than you persue for pg as higher level study.
Coming to scopes and salary, then i would say that it is the most sought after degree for students with medical interest. The scope is tremendous after this degree.. you never stay unemployed. You can generate self employment, government jobs, private jobs, own clinic, and many more. This is one of the most prestigious and reputed degree and most tough to get in government college. So, definitely if you have interest and want to be a successful and respected person in society then definitely go for this degree as you will never regret in life.
Coming to salary, then what to say because money in unlimited in this path. All the doctors are all almost rich person as they earn a lot and lot. You have many ways to income after your degree and if you have a good diagnosis capability, then life is most beautiful in terms of money and respect both.
