TANCET considers normalized score which is calculated from the formula:-

Normalized Score:- 40+ ( 10/ Standard Deviation)(Raw score-mean score)

Normalized score is used to make rank list for different category.  In counselling process, rank is used for admission. Reservation candidates apply through categorical rank. Your MBC rank will be considered for counselling process.

if your application form has the reservation category details then you have to show your documents to prove it. Then only your categorical rank will be considered for admission. If not you will go under general category for further process.

so it depends on you which rank you will consider. if you can go for general or categorical.

as per your percentile, your expected general rank is near to 10k which will make difficult to get admission in top college. If your categorical rank is lower then general then use it in the counselling process.  You can go for good private college.

Your percentile score is very low to get a seat in anna university.

If you want to get seat at your desired college then you to work a lot harder for it. As with these percentile you can't get a seat.
