For TISSNET if my OBC NC. reservation certificate gets rejected, will I be considered as a general category candidate or will my application be rejected?
If you're not having proper OBC-NC certificate then make sure if you can provide proper certificate to the college at the time of admission, or you must put a mail regarding it to the college before the examination for- considering yourself general candidate if any problem arises in the future.
Hi, I have completed my graduation but I have not received my degree yet..will there be an issue because of this while filling the tissnet form? And what all other documents are need to be uploaded while filling up the form? I am from general category.
Hello Ashi
I think almost all the form filling procedure requires any one proof of your eligibility, either it is GATE or TISSNET,
As you have mentioned that your degree has not arrived yet so in that case you can upload your penultimate semester mark sheet or course completion certificate.
But at the time of counselling you must have all the details with you.
what happens if a nc-obc candidate clears the cutoff and if by any chance during interview the nc-obc certificate has a minute discrepancy, will he be considered for general category (provided he clears the cut off for a general candidate)?
Dear Aspirant,
You have not specified your situation completely. However, according to the information you provided, the minor problems will be like there is something which is non readable, etc. If such type of problem arises and that too after the completion of process, then the authorities might give you some time to produce a new document without any such problem.
While on the other hand if the problem os of bigger nature like it is the central OBC certificate that is required and you have the state's certificate, or the certificate is expired a long time ago, then this might lead to no reservation and you'll be evaluated as a general category student.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
I am applying to TISS. I am in my 6th (final) semester now. I have an ATKT from semester 4. I have taken the supplementary examination. However, the results of that supplementary examination have not come out yet. Am I eligible to sit for TISSNET? Do advise, kindly. Thank you.
You appear for TISSNET without clearing your semester 4 papers. The eligibility criteria says that at the time of applying candidates studying in 3 year degree programs should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 4th semester.
I hope this helps.

I am an engineering graduate from AKTU Lucknow but I have a backlog in my seventh semester for which exam will held on 20/12/2019, Am I eligible for TISSNET Exam ?
National Entrance Test(TISS-NET) is computer based test and it is going to be held on 4-01-2020 and the duration of the test is 1:40 mins.I am afraid that you are not eligible with an active backlog for this test.Actually you quoted that your supplementary exam was on 20-12-2019 and I am sure that your results of that exam will not be announced anytime soon .So, there is no chance for you to write the TISS-NET exam.I wish you a better luck next time and make sure that while you are writing the test again in the next year, do not maintain an active backlog.
Hey. I am currently in my 5th semester and I am Going to appear for my backlog of one and only subject of 4th semester in december 2019 & TISS NET exam is in january 2020. Seeing their eligibility criteria can I appear for the exam ? please help me out !!!
Hello Kirat
For applying to TISSNET you should have your bachelor's degree with all the arrears cleared. It doesn't matter how many arrears you have at present and how many you had.
Just provide them your 4th Semester Marksheet for the eligibility. But at the time of admission you must have your degree or Course Completion certificate.
I am currently studying in 5th semester. I will be completing my degree only by June 2020 and will receive my marksheet only by December 2020. Am I eligible for tiss MA?
hey,
sorry to say this year you can not apply. the eligibility criteria is Candidates who will successfully complete, in all respects, all the requirements of their final year eligible degree (including all examinations) by Monday, June 8, 2020, are also eligible to apply.
or Those candidates who are in final year, but cannot submit the degree certificate and grade/mark sheet at the time of admission are required to submit these latest by September 30, 2020.
hope you may understand.
Im in final year of my b.tech. Ive a backlog from 6th semester and going to rewrite it in November. Im pretty confident that I would clear it.Am I eligible to apply for TISSNET 2020 in November?!
hi,
see for appearing in tissnet entrance test you need to have a graduation degree or appearing in a graduation degree which is at least of 3 years. the final year candidates in graduation also eligible to allow. but for 10+2+4 years graduation pattern candidates it is mandatory to have clear all courses or subjects till six semester. as you have back log in 6 semester , you are not eligible to apply. you may follow the below link to know in details:

Hello my percentage is less then 50 % in my graduation so am I eligible to do MBA ? And to give my entrance exam ?
Hey Aspirant,
For Admission in MBA or any other master program it's required to have at least 50% in graduation some relaxation is for SC/ST. Some private universities might have lesser eligiblity criteria as well. You can appear in exams like CAT,AIMA,LPUNEST for entrance.
Best of luck
