i am resident of Andra Pradesh.I am studying MBBS 1st year in osmania medical College, Telangana.will i get fee reimbursement ? if yes then from which government do i get reimbursement
Hello aspirant.
No you won't get reimbursement of fees if you have already joined the college.
There is provision of refund of fees after the first round of counseling for mbbs Course, after that you won't get this chance .
In some states not in all but in few universities there is facility of refund of fees only for backward class candidates.
So it will be better to think again and continue your study otherwise you may face issue for getting NOC from college .
One more thing if you will return back next year uou won't get this seet again and after appearing again for neet you will be eligible to get any medical seat.
I completed my studies till 7th standard in Telangana and finished my further studies upto 10th standard in Maharashtra but i am studying in Telangana for intermediate(11th & 12th). I was born and brought up in Telangana state itself. My parents are residents of TS. Will I be considered as local?
Hello,
Based on the information you provided me, since you were born and brought up in Telangana and your parents are residents of Telangana, you should be considered a local candidate. The Local status is typically determined by factors such as the place of birth, residence, and education in a particular state.
The educational eligibility for being a TS Local is that- A candidate shall be regarded as a local candidate in relation to a local area, If he/she has studied in an educational institution or educational institutions in such local area for a period of not less than four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared.
I hope this helps,
Thank you
hi my daughter studied in Karnataka from 3 rd to 10 and if she studies her 11 th and 12 th in telangana will she be local for KCET
Hello,
Yes, if your daughter studies her 11th and 12th in Telangana, she can be considered a local candidate for the KCET but ony if she meets certain criteria.
According to the KCET eligibility criteria, a candidate who has studied in Karnataka for a minimum of 7 years, including 1st standard to 12th standard, is eligible for local quota seats. Since your daughter studied in Karnataka from 3rd to 10th, she fulfills this requirement and can be considered a local candidate for KCET.
I hope this helps,
Thank you
