The exact dates have not been released. However, going by past-practice, it is assumed that tentatively in mid-June the admissions to Thapar Institute for the Lateral Entry Entrance Test [LEET] will begin. The exam is normally scheduled in the last week of June. Keep a check on the dates by reading up on Careers 360 using the link given below:

The starting date of the Tiet is in mid March. You can alsi check it from the Tiet admission page. No,  it is not mandatory to apply for iit jee advance exam. But you have to appear in the jee mains exam.

Well it depends upon are you doing BSc in computer science or Engineering in Computer Science.

It also depends upon which college do you study. If it's a private college then fees would be high if it's a government aided college then fees is comparatively low.

The cut off for Thapar Institute is nearly 40895 for punjab students and 19863 for outside punjab in first round counselling.

The cut off in the last round is 77774 for punjab students and 42872 for outside punjab.

electronics + mba is best in thappar university as compared to electronics in shiv nadar university. you must go for electronics+mba in thappar university. all the best have a great future ahead.

if you are from punjab then you will get all the branches except cse but if you are from outside punjab you may not get branches like CSE,ECE,electrical and mech.
