how to read the hindu news papet
Hello,
If you're asking this question specifically in regards to any entrance exam, then stick to the syllabus which will precisely describe what to read and what to skip, the editorials part of The Hindu is very important from the point of view of any exam, in fact in quite a few exams in recent times in English sections, RCs from the Hindu were directly taken, other than this this also build up your vocabulary, say for instance you're preparing for UPSC, then focus on editorials, government schemes, economics, science and technology news etc, in banking the focus should be more on business, banking related news, also it's good you follow another business newspaper along with The Hindu, stay from news that involves politics, local news that hold no relevance, once you read the headlines you can easily get to know if it's relevant to your preparation, after all it does take enough time, and practice after which you can only increase your speed of reading especially if I talk about the editorials part which are written by prolific writers, and involve vocabulary that are not used normal day to day life,
How exactly can I make notes from The Hindu?
Hello,
In case your query is specifically for UPSC, then editorials are major important regarding this, at the same time focus on government schemes and bills, news related to environment, economy, news of national and international importance, social issues, court rulings, constituent amendments etc, go through the syllabus in detailed manner, this is essential as you need to know what are th topics you're required to read and what to skip such as news related to sports, movies, politics etc, you can try to relate the dynamic portion with that of static one, for example an impact of recent government scheme socially, economically, or even otherwise, a holistic approach so to speak, that you are viewing a certain situation/impact socially, economically, geographically, this is more efficient when you will try to write your mains answer, see you can either go for making notes in register, the spiral one works best, also you can use stick notes, as in divide the major topics, and write notes accordingly, else if you don't want to go for hand notes, you can try digital ones through one note, evernote etc. always remember that your notes should be in your own words, don't copy everything line by line, try to write in your own words, because at the time of revision you will find it lot more easier, in case you're struggling regarding this, what you can do is watch few YouTube sessions of The HIndu Analysis by some great educators, even if you watch for few days in consistent manner, you will get to know how to go about this.

How to read The Hindu newspaper daily ? please give some tips
Hello aspirant,
For the exam of CLAT, generally, most questions were divided into different categories, viz., sports news, legal news, entertainment, literature, books, Chief Ministers, and etc. These are the most asked questions in the previous CLAT question paper in the section of current affairs. Firstly read all the head lines in the news paper. Next refer those sections, which you feel important. Read the whole section under that headline. Refer to those headlines where, specific awards, or books, or schemes - implemented states, their capitals. Later on, study the editorials keenly. Many people ask you study them, because they write an excellent vocabulary, through which many questions were asked regarding them in the English section of CLAT paper. As well as, you will also know the current situations. So, have a glance at it daily. Brief the newspaper, and make notes of important news in it. This helps you to cover the syllabus in a little time, before the exam. Out of all, do follow the most important news, it is mandatory to do it, cause several questions from different ways will be asked in the same current trending topics. example: When I gave the CLAT, I was asked nearly 3 questions from the topic 'elections' itself. You know the value of marks in the exam! So, its better to be on safe side.

GA is a very new subject for many people but reading it and studying it can make it easy for you. If you have patience.
