Should I take admission in NIE in mechanical branch ? Are the placements good here in ME?

Placements at NIE are very good, it's one of the best in Karnataka in placements. The college will provide the internship to the all student and its best in placement also. Placements are really good, in mechanical branch 60 to 70% of the students get placed.Benz, Bosch, TVS, Toyota etc. are some of the big companies that came for placements of the mechanical branch.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry to inform you that you cannot get a seat for ECE in National Institute Of Engineering, though you belong to OBC category. Previous year the cutoff rank for ECE branch in National Institute Of Engineering Mysore was 10151. This year it will surely change, most probably reduce thereby reducing your chances further. With this rank without HKR quota you can not expect any branch in NIE institute of technology mysore.
Last year cutoff for EC was :-3077
They will release counselling process document on 15th june.

I have scored 132 marks in comedk uget. Can I get CSE in NIE, Mysore
COMEDK is an entrance exam which helps student to get admission in different colleges in various undergraduate courses.
The COMEDK exam is a online MCQ exam, which consist of three sections Physics, Chemistry and Math. Each section contain 60 questions each carrying 1mark. And there is no negative marking.
Total marks - 180.
You have got -132 out of 180 which is excellent.
Your rank would near about fall in range of 1000-2000 approximately.
And the cut-off rank for CSE branch in NIE, Mysore was 2500 in 2018.
This it may change because of less students enrollment.
Don't worry you will surely get CSE in NIE.

I have got 71 marks in COMEDK 2019 and expected rank would be around 12000. Can I get seat in NIE Mysore or SIT Tumkur for CS/IS/EC?
