considering the general you will get BE Industrial and Production Engineering in NIT mysore while JC you will BE in Industrial and Production Engineering ,BE Environmental Engineering and construction and management but in muslim category it wont varry much you will again fall in these branches as the core branches ranking requires below 8k

Firstly congratulations on getting your KCET rank as it one of the stepping stone to a wide platform .

Coming to your admissions to NIE mysore through KCET there are two sub categories in which KCET has bifocated the seats and they are "Goverment aided" and "goverment Unaided",however with respect to your selected preference of branch, Electrical And Electronics comes only under the category of "goverment Unaided" .So please be carefull while applying and please make a note of these categories.Getting a seat in the respective branch is based purely on how many seats in the particular branch is vacant with respect to KCET and how many of Engineering aspirants before your Rank that is 4999 have applied for it in the Option Entry round .Please be patient and wait for the subsiquent rounds of KCET if you havn't got your desired seat in the first initial rounds as some of the Medical Aspirants or students who want to study elsewhere or a different course other than Engineering may opt out .There is a postive chance that you might get a seat taking into consideration and analysing previous years cuttoff ranks with respect to the category of genral Merit.
