Yes, NIE Mysore has a CSE branch. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was set up in 1983 with a B.E. programme. The NIE CSE branch has the highest placement ratio.  

NIE Mysore's admission to B.E courses is done on the basis of COMEDK UGET or KCET followed by a counselling process. The NIE Mysore admission to the M. Tech and M.C.A courses are done through the entrance exam- Karnataka PGCET conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
