Which is the best Book of Thermal Science for Mechanical Engineering (2nd year of IPU Delhi)?
A book by RK Rajput
All the best.
which branch is better thermal or manufacturing technology for m.tach please tell
Both the specializations provide good opportunities in the market. How ever, manufacturing takes an edge over the latter because of its work environment. Even if you observe the cutoffs in IIT s and NITs, manufacturing is observed to have higher cutoffs compared to thermal.
But lastly, I would suggest you to consider your choice, interest and potential before choosing any branch.
Good Luck!!!
how to go pg in thermal engg
Just you need to complete Mechanical Engineering degree to opt that PG course and you can opt different degrees also but ME would be better.
I have qualified gate2017 , my score is 557 in ME paper.I belongs to general category. which nit I could get in thermal engineering
wht r scopes of doing m.tech in these courses thermal,design,manufacturing,pr-dution,& CAD&CAM.Gv me the detailed info about each courses.
Hi, As per your concern, check the scope for all below:
Thermal: Thermal engineers maintain centers for electric motors, pump sets, oil engines and other manufacturing equipments. Some job titles are - Lecturer Researcher
Plant Chemist
Piping Designer Trainee
Maintenance Engineer
Field Service Engineer
Design: With this you open up options like in aerospace, automobiles, bio-mechanics, micro mechanic etc. It also has wide scope in research and development.
Manufacturing: Some of the fields you can go in are Plant Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Managers and Operations Analyst.
CAD: Scope is good and broad in it.
Also its not the scope that matters, but your interest and passion.
Decide wisely.
Good Luck.
