Is it necessary to include english in best 4... For b. Com or ba hons economis to get admission in delhi university
hi Rajansingh,
It is not necessarily important to include english only in your best four subjects. Any language not necessary English is mandatory to be counted in best four. It is important to include a language subject in your best of four. That language subject may be English or Hindi or any language so concerned. Same goes for admission in B. com or Economics hons. , it is necessary to include any of the language subject either it be english , hindi or any other language so concerned.
The best four subject need to include the followings:
*one language (core/elective/functional)
*one subject in which admission is sought- A candidate needs to include the subject in best of four, in for the honours programme in which admission is being sought, otherwise a disadvantage of 2.5% will be applicable to the calculates best of four percentage.
*any two academic/elective subjects as per list A.

Does Delhi University give extra percentage or any other benifits to the sports person. I played at Juniour men national level [Boxing]?
- Sports quota is there in DU. You will get relaxation in Du with this quota. For boxing, following colleges offer sports quota to men:-
- Daulat Ram College
- Sri Aurobindo College
- Deshbandhu College
- Kirori Mal College
The quota is alloted on the basis of your trial as well as level of achievement in history. Since you have national level achievement, it will act as an advantage to you.
Kya mai delhi university me do course ke liye apply kr sakta hu jaise bsc (cs) aor b.a
No extra money will be charged for that. Also, your admission will depend only on cutoff list for various courses and your merit. If your 10+2 percentage fulfills the cutoff marks, then you can get admission easily.
Just remember to go through DU guidelines carefully.
Best wishes!
Enquiry regarding admission Delhi University
Since you have got corrected hard copy of your class 12 marksheet, so there will be no problem in taking admission in any college.
However note that DU is one of the best college in India, and it demands very good percentage .
So, you must have secured the adequate percentage in class 12 as required for admission in DU.
And ofcurse there will be no problem for you in any college related to your marksheet correction.
You acnalso show them the incorrect and correct marksheet both if some problem occurs.
Can I apply for du by uploading class 12 marksheet saved from delhi university website? I am out of station and cannot get it from school.
During my admission procedure I too did the same. But during the final verification during the admission they demand the original one so make sure that you collect that from school by that time
All the best.
Wjat are the best 4 subjects for commerce class 12 for delhi university??
Hi Reetika,
Calculation of best four score is different for each course and some subjects don't even consider four subjects. I'm giving you this link to an information bulletin that contains all details of how to calculate best four for different courses.

Sir, I hadnt taken maths in Std.12th .Can I apply for BTech in biotechnology in Delhi University.
As you must be knowing that Delhi University demands the percentage of best four, including one language subject, aggregate of three major subjects are taken into consideration for subjects like b.sc and b.tech that should include physics, chemistry, maths/ biology. If you don't have either maths or bio, you will have to face a deduction of about 2.5 % of your total percentage.
Hope that helps!:)
Please Suggest low cut off colleges of delhi university for bcom??
Since the percentage of du colleges differ accordingly and also according to the category you belong. If you belong to any of the reserved category (ST/SC/OBC) then you easily get admission in good colleges of du as well. Also, it depends on the courses you are willing to chose.
Well i may specify with some colleges with their respective cutoffs it usually goes:
80%-81%
1)Aryabhatta College - B.A. in Hindi (H)
2)PGDAV College - B.A. in Hindi (H)
3)Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening) - B.A. Programme
4)Rajdhani College - B.A. in Hindi (H)
5)Dyal Singh College - B.A. in Hindi (H) and B.A. in Urdu (H)
6)Janki Devi Memorial College - B.A. in Hindi (H)
7)Shaheed Bhagat Singh College - B.A. in Hindi (H)
8)Sri Aurobindo College (Day) - B.A. in Hindi (H)
9)College of Vocational Studies - B.A. in Hindi (H)
10)Kalindi College - B.A. in Hindi (H)
11)Mata Sundari College for Women - B.A. in Philosophy (H)
But as i said it differs fot people belonging to reserved category and for general category and also their preferred courses. For reserved category it may reduce further.
Hope this works for you.
Good luck.
