No need to register with Mumbai University for outside mumbai Students, as CAP rounds are centralised for students across Maharashtra.
Students will be allotted colleges based on their merit and cutoffs and as per choices filled.

- Then go to your uni and ask for university transfer application
- Getting university transfer certificate is easy complications arises in getting TC in your present college as thy may demand the fee for your remaining tenure up front to release you from their college
- Once the above process is complete pay fee in your puna college and enjoy your studies

Its possible to transfer universities but its defnately hard,tedious, frustrating,and time consuming work if its worth for you you may try it
