how to become topper in NTSE as i am in class 10 also give me timetable to crack both board and NTSE exam
Dear,
There is no such time table or schedule which can make you a topper. You just need to remember a few points during your preparation. For NTSE the first thing that you need to work on is your mathematics skills. A student good in maths has an edge over the others in solving the MAT section.Language-The language paper will not be too tough but see to it that you don't take too much time in it.Science paper will be strictly based on your state/central board's prescribed syllabus books.Books like Tata McGraw Hill are very useful for NTSE prep( especially for SST and MAT).There is also Arihant's preparation book for NTSE. Give online tests as many as you can. They really help you to manage your time well.Have a proper idea of time. Make sure you don't waste too much time on one question/section. Otherwise you may not get the time to complete the paper.Try to complete the paper atleast 15mins early so that you have time to revise the paper. You follow the same tips for board exam as well like focusing on the important points and revising concepts. Solve past years exam papers. If you are consistent in your work, you can definitely top these exams. Don't lose hope. All the best.
Hope this helps!
Hello . I am not a Bright/Topper Student . But smart and hardworking. I want to go in good NIT like Rourkela. Or BITS Pilani. Mainly I want to go in NIT Rourkela. Please tell me that at Which rank if JEE MAINS I can get NIT Rourkela ?? Please help .
The cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it. You haven't mentioned which branch you want to choose, your category and your home state. I'm assuming that you are from the general category.
Analysing the previous year data, the cut-off rank for different branches in NIT Rourkela were as follows:
Civil- 17939
Chemical- 18067
CSE- 4115
Biotechnology- 30834
Electrical- 9875
ECE- 5674
Mechanical- 11825
This is for the general category.
You can check the cut-off ranks of all the categories in the link given below:
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-rourkela
For getting a seat in NIT Rourkela, you need to score atleast 98.5 percentile, or 99.5 percentile to be on the safe side. For that you need 230+ marks in JEE Main.
Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!
I belong from a middle class family and I had completed my 10th class waiting for results.. I am a topper of my school I need to ask that in what proffesion I should apply and what subject I should choose????
Nandini, to be honest, Medical field will not pay you an exorbitant salary the moment you complete your studies. They take years of experience and hardwork. If you have the patience to wait,, then we would say Medical field might get you the reputation, respect and the money you wish for. Then you have Commerce courses like CA, CS, ICWA. But they do not pay you that package atleast for the first 5-7 years and again all this depends on how hard you study and how hard you work. Then there are always Management courses like IBM. But only IIMs and top B-Schools pay you in lakhs from the initial stages. Then let us not forget about the Engineering and Technology field. It fluctuates but there is demand for Engineering students and Technical graduates across the Globe. That is one option. We would say, go with CA or CS because the country needs more CAs than ever and there is a dearth of such professionals.
