My son is studying in UAE in 9th standard, he wants to pursue his carrer in medicine we are from Telangana state, we want to avoid NRI status . I heard that to avoid it, a student must study locally four years prior to NEET is this true.? please suggest how to avoid NRI status
Hello candidate,
It's true that if a student who wishes to get the state quota or the domicile Quota of seats, then he must passes class 12th Board examinations from the same state itself or must be a resident of the state for the past 4 to 5 years.
NRI quota is allotted to a person who does not live in the country, but has cleared the entrance examination and is eligible to take admission into any of the college providing such quota for its students.
Hope that it helps!!
My son is studying in grade 9 in Dubai, UAE HD wants to pursue his career in medicines we are from Telangana, if he continue his studies till 12 in Dubai, will he be eligible to get admission into MBBS under general category if he gets a good rank in NEET? or he will be considered NRI? #NEET
No matter where students or NEET aspirants completed their education if they qualify NEET exam with bet rank they definitely selected for MBBS seat in our country.
They also have NRI quota with which they help to get better medical College and hospital.
Can I apply for general seat in BPharma, through Mht Cet, even though I completed my 12th in UAE?
hi,
Under the Indian foreign exchange regulations, Indian students going abroad for studies are treated as NRIs and are eligible for facilities available to NRIs. Aspirants belong to the NRI OCI/PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries or Foreign National category, must have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with subjects Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one Chemistry or Engineering Drawing or Computer Science or Biology or Technical Vocational Subject with at least 50 % marks in the above subjects. however there is nothing mentioned about candidates who may apply as general even through completed 12th in other country. however you may apply as all INDIA Candidature, The Candidates having Indian Nationality are eligible under this Category.

im studying bsc and msc integrated course in radiology...I want to work in UAE ...what i have to do ?..or working in india is better ..what is salary differences.?
Hello,
Radiology is one of the more popular branches of medical sciences and is a popular choice amongst medical aspirants across India.
There are many options for you including ;
- Radiology Technician
- Radiologist
- MRI Technician
- Radiology Assistant
- Radiology Technologist/Radiographer
- Ultrasound Technician / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- Radiology Nurse
- CT Tech / CAT Scan Technologist / CT Scan Technologist
In India, the average starting salary of a radiographer ranges between Rs. 7,000 – Rs. 10,000 per month in government/private hospitals . But it will increase with your experience.
Now talking about foreign countries including UAE there the salary if of course better.
AED35,000 per month can be earned in Dubai .
As currency exchange rate is better there.
20.13 INR = 1 UAE dirham .
So you can choose Accordingly .
Hope this helps!!
im studying bsc and msc integrated course in radiology..if this qualification is enough to work in UAE .,like dubai.?and its worth than working in india?
Hello
I will give you agist of the kind of jobs you may get in UAE after completing your course in radiology from India:
Breast radiologist
Consultant radiologist
Radiology technician
X ray technician
Radiology breast cancer consultant physician
Interventional radiographer
registered sonographer etc.
Since one UAE durham equals 20 INR, the vaerage salary of a radiologist (initially) in Dubai is around 1 to 2 lakh rupees per month along with some incentives and the pay scale goes higher wirth experience. In India the salary (average) is around 1800000 yearly with added incentives and bonus.
To get a job in UAE you mght need certain licenses so it is an extra burden besides staying far from your family. However the lifestyle you will get there is better so it all boils down to your choice. The salary is good in both the places.
im studying bsc and msc integrated course in radiology ..after complition getting job in UAE is possible and its worth or not.what is salary difference from India?
Hey!
yes you can work in UAE after your masters.
but 1st you have to ensure there is a job vacancy. radiology is not so demanded job there. but there is a necessity though. so check for vacancy and you can get a job even with a recommendation. it is worth a lot. you will earn enough in 10 yrs what you need to live in india for rest of your life with just a small source of income.
in india the salary might be around 50k to 100k. there it might be around 300k to 500k.
so it is worth while trying.

In the UAE, after 12th can you suggest which college is the best for fashion study/designing. Also, can please answer in detail like how you get into it and which entrance examination is required?
Hi Khadeeja,
There are several institutes in the UAE offering fashion designing courses. Some of the top institutes offering fashion designing courses are:
- French Fashion Institute Esmod, Dubai
- Amity University, Dubai
- American University of Sharjah
- FAD Institute of Luxury Fashion, Dubai
ESMOD Dubai and FAD Institute are top international institutes which offer a wide variety of courses in fashion designing, business etc which are short term courses ranging from weeks to six months. I suggest you to undertake these courses which will help your career, but only after obtaining a bachelor's degree in fashion design at Amity or AU Sharjah. These are 4 year UG courses which you can apply starting fall or spring semesters. The criteria for admission will vary at both these colleges, which you can find in their official websites. Few common things like you need a valid Emirates ID, passport etc. There will be screening tests, interviews too. You also must have a good score in English language proficiency test, either IELTS, TOEFL or iBT. If you have studied in the UAE in a foreign curriculum school like CBSE, you need a score of 70% and above in 12th grade.
Hope this is helpful.
