CUCET is not essential for admission into the Delhi University for B.SC Microbiology course. The admission into the course is based on the merit prepared on the class 12 basis by following the best four subjects criteria.
The eligibility criteria for B.SC Microbiology states that:

Some colleges conducts entrance examination for admission while some Colleges provide admission on basis of marks score in qualifying examination that is 10+2 and some colleges provides admission based on merit in both. The admission procedure will be in online mode or offline mode or both. Based on the marks in the qualifying examination or entrance examination a merit list will be prepared.
