I am a little worried I filled my fathers name in form as UIDAI card and 10th marksheet but mistake is that I filled KUMAR instead of KR which is in 10th result but same as aadhar card will NTA reject my admit card how do I get to know this its a huge mistake please help me
You should have corrected this when the correction window was open. Nevertheless, you don't need to worry. If there was any issue, the authorities would have definitely given you a notification about that. If you haven't received any such notification or email, then you don't have to be tensed. You will get your admit card, and can also appear for the examination. Moreover, your father's name doesn't affect the merit list of the exam, hence it won't create a problem. While, a problem may (or may not) occur during your admission. I would suggest you to keep an affidavit ready from beforehand, showing that both names belong to the same person. Then there will be no more issues.
Hope this answer helps you.
Thank you!!
I have filled my neet ug 2020 form as fathers name with (eg.Ramesh Kumar Sahu) which is same as UIDAI card but my 10th marksheet it is ( Ramesh Kr Sahu) will it create problem for me during neet counselling /while taking exams will my admit card come considering this year they have 10 the result
It is important to fill the NEET application according to the details the same way they show in your 10th class marks sheet. But if you have filled it according to UIDAI Card, please get an affidavit stating that both the names Ramesh Kr Sahu and Ramesh Kumar Sahu belong to the same person and in fact they are the names of the same person. This will not create any problem during counselling or admission process because you have a supporting document. This is necessary because NTA has closed its correction window on May 31st and you cannot make any changes to your application form now. NTA also doesn't entertain any requests for changes in the application form. So the only next better thing is to get an affidavit done. A local advocate can get this done for you. . I corrected neet application form with fathers name X Kr Y given in 10th marksheet but UIDAI card has fathers name X Kumar Y . it has KR in result and Kumar in Aadhar card . if admit card comes fathers name be X KR Y n aadhar will be X Kumar Y will exam invigilator allow me to sit in exam
If you have heard of the Supreme Court's ruling in regards to Aadhar Card not being mandatory for Educational and Admission purposes, it clearly states that your Aadhar card is NOT MANDATORY to be shown as an Identity proof. You can show your Driving License or Ration Card or even Voter Id card, Even they will work. You can take any one of them and you will BE ALLOWED TO APPEAR FOR THE EXAM. So if you have made the corrections in your NEET application form, do not worry because everything is going to be just fine. Start preparing for NEET as you have just a couple of minutes for your exam. The mistake that scared you all this while has been rectified and this is the time for preparing for your exam.
