UGC NET Exam is divided into two Papers i.e. Paper-1 and Paper-2.
Paper-1 consist of 50 question for 100 marks with no negative marking. It is compulsory paper and common for all the aspirant.
Paper-2 consist of 100 question for 200 marks with no negative marking. It is an optional paper which is opted by the candidate at the time of filling the application form, according to their Post-Graduation course or related.

In NET form step 2, I just uploaded wrong photo. Theres no option to edit. How can I do it? Have not submitted form completely yet.

If you don't find any other option of editing the photo, then just call up the authorities and ask for help.
There must be a helpline number and an email id on their website. Call that number. Mail them.
Keep pestering them until you get your query cleared.

As per the UGC NET guidelines, aspirants can apply for the exam in the subjects of their masters or related to them.
UGC NET exam is conducted in the 85 subjects, if your subject will be available then you can easily apply only you have to fulfill all the eligibility criteria.
You should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in post-graduation and 5% relaxation will be provided to the reserved candidates.
To apply for JRF your age must not exceed 30 years or if you are from SC/ST/PWD/OBC candidate then you will get 5 years age relaxation.
For assistant professor no age criteria is applicable.
Is mathematics students valid for UGC net exam?
Yes, Mathematics Students can apply for the UGC NET exam in Population Studies subject. To apply for the exam, you need to fulfill all the eligibility criteria of the exam.
You should have minimum 55% (For General) aggregate marks in master’s to apply for UGC NET exam or if you belong to OBC/SC/ST/PwD category then you will get the 5% relaxation in aggregate marks.
There is no restriction on the number of attempts.
But to apply for NET JRF, your age must not exceed to 30 years, on the other side for Assistant Professor, no age criteria is applicable. You can apply whenever you want.
