I cracked ugc net exam on dec 2015 while i was doing mba final year. I just got certificates by now. What should I do for net certificate
Hello aspirant,
UGC-NET exam is the National Eligibility Test conducted by the University Grants Commission twice a year. It has a lot of benefits, from getting a research fellowship from the government to being a professor in a government university which is a dream of many students.
In my opinion, this exam is easy compared to other competitive exams as you just need in-depth knowledge of your subject along with Paper-1 which is a general aptitude paper and can be prepared in a short period with the right guidance.
As you have mentioned that you have cracked the exam and got the certificate, I would like you to know that the validity of the certificate is forever, while JRF(Junior Research Fellowship) is for 2 years only.
With the help of the certificate, you can teach in any private university or college, can earn a good amount of money depending on the location and the college, expecting a minimum salary of 25-30 thousand and can go up to 1 lakh depending on your teaching skills and knowledge.
You can also apply for the State and Central level exams in your given field, a student who has cleared the NET exam would be eligible for the Assistant Professor Exam conducted by the government from time to time. The salary here would be beneficial starting with 60-70 thousand, increasing every year. You will be having a lot of aids in being a government servant, from national holidays to no workload. Your only duty would be to teach the student with all your heart and energy, making their life worthful.
I hope this helps you!
