With the rank that you have achieved, you can not get any government college in West Bengal. However your rank is good enough to get you a seat in private engineering colleges with the branch that you want to be in. If you wait for the second round of counseling then you might be in a good college.

Hello Pratyush. No, all the applicants will not get the seat since mumbai university has given a fixed number of seats that can be filled for every college. So the college cannot go beyond their limit in order to take in- house applicants. Also a particular number of seats are reserved for in house students and not all of them.

You can look for other colleges which provide similar courses. If you do not get college you have to go with what you get. If not you should try the next year. Usually you get colleges that you filled in your choice. No college is alloted out of the choice zone.

For getting admission in Manipal University, Jaipur, the eligibility criteria is the candidates must have passed in 10+2 or A Level or IB or American 12th Grade or equivalent. Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Every year the various lists comes out announcing the eligibility of the students required and cut-offs.
