You must complete your graduation first if it completed before examination form filling date then you must take that's exam
I have completed my 12th this year. But I am veryconfused what to pursue. I also want to crack UPSC exam but this would not be the only dream as it can take years to crack it. So which course is best after medical sothat alongwith the preparation of this exam I could get thejob. Please let me know?
Hi
If you want to clear UPSC then you can choose any subject or course of your choice based on your interest for your graduation after your 12th
This is because,
to be eligible for UPSC examination there is no compulsion to be a graduate in a particular subject, all you need to be eligible is that :-
You should be a graduate in any discipline and 21- 32 years old . You can check upsc eligibility criteria at https://competition.careers360.com/articles/upsc-ias-eligibility-criteria/amp
So you are free choose any discipline of your interest after your 12th PCB for graduation like mbbs, bds,bsc etc, the additional benefit of courses like mbbs is that you will have have a plan B i. e a good back up if you fail to clear UPSC in the worst case .
Also,
There are many who first do mbbs and then crack UPSC as well. Some of doctors/mbbs graduates who took UPSC and become an IAS are listed below
------------) Dr. Shena Aggarwal :– AIR 1 in the year 2011.
------------) Dr. Arpit Jain :– AIR 194 in the year 2013.
------------) Dr. Roman Saini :– AIR 18 in the year 2013.
------------) Dr. R. Vaithinathan : – AIR 37 in the year 2015.
------------) Dr. Vineeth Sukumaran Pillai :– AIR 56 in the year 2012.
So, if you want job security / back up then after your 12th medical MBBS is the best option .
So, take your time and decide.

what should I take in degree after mpc should I go for engineering or normal b.com and focus in upsc exam preparation
hi,
upsc civil service exams can be attempted from any branch of studies. the eligibility criteria for upsc civil services is candidates must have completed bachelors degree course in any discipline from a recognized education board. however it depends on you in which of the course you find interest. if you have decent score in mathematics, physics, chemistry you may opt for bsc or engineering courses. however if you are not inclined to do bachelors on science stream you may go for b.com (//b.com) or b.a course.
b.com (//b.com) would be easier compare to engineering courses.
