The eligibility criteria for UPSC is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, there is no specific aggregate required in this case, candidates in the final year of graduation too are eligible provisionally to apply for the same, you can pursue engineering in any discipline of your choice, however some of the discipline enlisted as optional subjects are civil, electrical and mechanical, so if you have an interest in any of these areas then you may pursue the same, otherwise choose any graduation stream as per your preference, in order to commence your preparation for UPSC get acquainted with the syllabus, learn it by heart, start reading any newspaper such as The Hindu or The Indian Express on a daily basis focusing on editorial section, government schemes, news of national and international importance etc, once you know the syllabus you get to know what to read and what to skip, apart from NCERTs you can refer the following books;

You can choose any courses in which you are comfortable as for being eligible for union Public Service Commission examination the candidate nice to only complete graduation in any specialisation. There is no specific subject which you have to take in graduation for fighting union Public Service Commission examination. The age of the candidate must be minimum 21 years.
Is the AMRUT scheme important from the point of upsc?
As this scheme is developed by the government Ministry, yes obviously this scheme is important from the point of view of the Union Public Service Commission the question can be asked from this scheme. This scheme is under the syllabus of upsc.
if I pursue BBA LLB(5yr course) can I attend UPSC after 3yrs after getting my BBA degree while still in college?
BBA LLB is a full time undergraduate degree having the combination of management with law, if you're pursuing this course then only after five years of academic study you will become graduate, hence you can either appear for UPSC in the final year of graduation that is 5th year provisionally you're able to show the proof of the qualifying examination within the prescribed period of time as set by officials, or once you have completed your graduation (that is five years of study)to be eligible for UPSC, also you need to attain 21 years as on 1st August of the appearing year, there is no specific aggregate required in this case.

Yes, it has several pros if you wish to prepare for UPSC. Doing a Masters in Geography will definitely prove as a good decision in the long run since a lot of questions and interrelated essay questions find their roots in Geography.
Geography optional syllabus can be broadly divided into three parts. It constitutes Physical Geography, Human Geography, and Indian Geography. Paper I consists of physical and human geography and Paper II consists of Indian geography. All of this will pretty much get covered in your Masters.
Although MA Geography is not a necessity to clear UPSC's geography section, it is still a good course with job opportunities or you can also pursue higher studies like PhD as a backup option.
There is no loss if you look at it from this perspective. So yes, MA Geography would be a good option.

According to UPSC, the upper age limit for general candidates should not cross 32 years on the 1st of August of the year of examination.
