Congratulations for getting such a pretty rank in UPSEE 2020. According to the last some years cut offs sorry to say but you have very very less or probably no any chances of getting admission into IET Lucknow for Master of Business Administration i.e. MBA.

As IET Lucknow is the most prestigious institution of UP so that the cut offs for this institution are generally very high. Last year the cut off rank for MBA in IET Lucknow with EWS  category is only 84 rank. As your rank is far more than that o you have very very less chances of admission in this institution.

You said you have predicted your rank to be 36k in UPSEE this year. And you will also use EWS Quota for getting seat in your preffered colleges.

I will tell you that you have good chances to get UP Textile Technology Institute, Kanpur in B.Tech Textile chemistry. The previous year cutoff state rank for this branch was 69,169 last year.

You have equally good chances to get seat in four branches in University Institute of Engineering and Technology CSJMU, Kanpur . The branches are B.Tech ECE, B.Tech MECH, B Tech Metallury and Material engineering and B.tech Chemical Engineering. The last year minimum state cutoff ranks for these branches in UIET Kanpur was as follows:-

B.Tech ECE- 50,182

B.Tech Metallurgy and materials engnn.- 56,048

B.Tech Mech- 60,519

B.Tech Chemical Engineering - 72,864

see every branch of engineering include the combination physics and maths most commonly and chemistry is some branches, i would suggest you to choose branch like computer science , IT, aerospace , civil...and as you are preparing for upsc you should choose CS or civil it help you with your additional subjects.

since you belong to the creamy layer for the OBC category so , you won't be able to get any benefit under reservation.

you have to work hard and do not depend on any quotas or reservations under categories in colleges.

The cut off in 2019 round 4 was as follows for SC category in INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY,LUCKNOW

• CSE:4252
• EE:7502
• ECE: 8400
• IT: 7208

Considering the cut off you have decent chances of getting seat in the branches mentioned above. But cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc.

Yes there is a chance of getting a seat in IES via reserved category. Mostly it depends which branch you are going for. Last year the end cut was around 3k for getting a seat in IET through reserved category. So all the best and go ahead, you may bag a seat till final round of counselling.
