optometry is related with vision. optometrist are responsible for eye power checking, preliminary eye problems detection and reporting to the main eye doctors. however this course is health science related technical post and is quite demanding in current hospital industry. however there is various paramedical courses available and each of the streams has its nature of job. however you must be very selective about college and must ensure that you can get a decent internship or placement after completing the course.
