I am getting 585 in uttarakhand general state quota , doon medical college closed at 588 last year can I get it at 585 this year
Hello aspirant,
Through the state quota, the last seat at Doon Government Medical College was allotted to a general category student with a score of 588. Since the cut off changes every year depending on various factors such as category of the student, difficulty level of the exam, number of students attempting the paper and number of newly opened medical colleges, it is quite difficult to predict the colleges you can get into.
However, since your score is quite near to the previous year’s cut off, you might have a chance of getting a seat in Doon Medical College.
You can also get a seat in Soban Singh Jeena Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Almora whose last seat was allotted at a score of 566 marks.
Nevertheless, you have good chances of getting a government seat in Uttarakhand through the state quota.
All the best!

Hey aspirant
For getting admission in government colleges you need to score minimum 600+ . As you are an utharakhand domicile, based on previous year sources closing rank was 35k (all India rank). So you need to score minimum 580+ to secure a government seat. Well you will get admission in private medical colleges or for other courses like bds, bams, bhms etc. For more details refer below link https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp
I m scoring 470 marks in neet under ews quota and my father is ex army who has been borded out due to disability under army, do I have any chance to get medical college in uttarakhand I have domicile of uttarakhand, as we have seen in delhi and other states that quota is based on priority,
Hello Aspirant
As you can see cut-off varies year to year, college to college, and category to category we can not really decide precisely. According to your category and hence you have a defense quota, there are around 20 seats in MBBS reserved for wards of defense person.
Since you have not mentioned your category ( Gen/OBC/SC/ST) it's difficult to predict which college you can get into precisely. Considering you General through state quota ( Uttrakhand ) you can apply to BDS courses to :
1. Government Doon Medical College
2. Swami Rama Himalayan University
3. Shri Guru Ram Rai
The cut-off rank for the economically weaker section (EWS) category is expected to decrease from 19594 in NEET 2021 to around 22000-22500 this year. So hopes are high that you can get a seat this year in your state.
If you apply through 85% State quota for Uttrakhand Medical Colleges, last year's cut-off for Government Doon medical college was 598 marks for the general category so you can apply to this college as you have a defense quota too.
You can also apply to Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali, Srinagar, and Seema dental college and hospital, Rishikesh.
The last year's cut-off for Uttrakhand open category EWS quota was 480 marks(minimum) since you have a defense quota also you have a higher chance to get a seat.
Further, if you want to predict the colleges you are getting through your rank, you can refer to the link below:

Till then All the best .
I have domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh, but i filled Uttarakhand in permanent address, i have done 10th and 12th also from Uttarakhand. What should i do now? Will i be eligible for Uttar Pradesh state quota? (NEET 2022)
Dear aspirant
You don't have to worry about that, state of eligibility have been taken as default from state which you have studied your 12th class.
You can participate in the counseling for the state which you have domicile when once started. It will not affect you. It has happened with lots of candidates and it's default taken by system.
For time being now you should be focused on your exam on Sunday and try to score maximum marks so that you can grab a medical seat in good college. All this can be dealt later or may NTA come with notice/information during the counseling time or they will give you opportunity to correct it after exam and before result declaration.
You can use NEET UG college predictor tool for knowing chances of getting MBBS BDS ayush colleges at your expected marks.

i got 92% percent in 12th boards and 76.4 percentile in jee mains because of NTAs negligence.(I had also sent an email to NTA but nothing worked.) can I get btech CS in Uttrakhand technical University? (I am a resident of Uttarakhand and from general category).
Hello,
To be honest it's difficult to predict about a person if she will be getting a particular branch or not because Uttarakhand Technical University doesn't releases any official data about its cut off.
Although some conditions are considered while deciding the cut offs like choices filled by the candidates, number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and toughness level of the paper.
As per my view there are more chances for core branches in this college.

I am a science stream student just pass class 12th from uttarakhand board but got less marks so can I repeat class 12th as a private candidate in cbse without changing my subject? If yes then OK otherwise please tell me the other options to repeat class 12th without changing my subjects.
Hello aspirant,
Yes, you can surely repeat 12th class with same subjects in CBSE board if you get compartment or for a few subjects. You can repeat it if there are not more than 2 or 3 years. If you have passed but with a low percentage then you can give improvement exams as a private student in the subjects you want to improve.
But if you totally repeat 12th class with all subjects when you already passed lastly without any compartment then you need to face some difficulties. you can look for other Boards or other schools to go to.
Thank you
