Hey,

In every admission form there is mentioned which documents you need to upload at that time. Some forms only ask for the information and the certificates needs to be submitted later at the time of admission in that college.

But if the admission form of VELLORE INSTITUTE OF Technology mentions about the submission of original documents (pdf) then you will have to submit it in order to considered as a valid candidate for admission.

VIT is a private institute and it doesn't accept score of JEE MAINS. You have to appear for VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam), entrance exam conducted by VIT itself to take admission for courses in various streams of Engineering,  you can fill the VITEEE form till 30th March 2021, and the exam will be commenced from June 18, 2021. If you have scored minimum 50 percent in 12th then you are eligible to appear for VITEEE.

The eligibility criteria for M.sc business statistics in VIT is

• The Candidate should have passed graduation in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Business/ Commerce / Economics/ Engineering from a recognized university.
• Also, the candidate should have at least 60% marks in UG

and, The eligibility criteria for M.sc data science in VIT is

• The candidate should have completed BE/BTech in CSE/ IT/ECE/EEE or BSc in Mathematics/Computer Science/ Physics/Statistics
• Also, the candidate need to have at least 60% marks in UG.

So, yes you can apply for MSc in VIT.

Among these colleges I consider Vellore Institute of technology to be the best since it provides fantastic placements and excellent faculties.Faculties are well learned and extremely helpful.More than 95% students get placement from this college every year.The highest package offered is 34 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Amazon, Google, Microsoft, etc., companies offer placements. Around 80% of the students got internships in Amazon, Google, TCS and Microsoft. SDE.Infrastructure is quite good over here.

These days LPU is offering a quite lucrative package in CS.More than 90% students got placed from here and around 42 LPA package was provided by the college placements. Vellore Institute conducts entrance exam VITEEE for lateral entry admission into 2nd year of engineering after completion diploma in engineering course.You can enroll directly into 2nd year of mechanical engineering through lateral entry admission after your diploma in mechanical engineering. From this fall, VIT will accept both JEE Main as well as VITEEE Scorecards for Admission Purposes. VIT Vellore has a well defined, merit based and Categorical Counselling System for Admission Purposes. However, incase you want direct admission, you may consider takimg admission in the last Category, with an exorbitant fees, however you still might have to produce one of the above scorecards as a document, irrespective of how you have fared in it. As such there are no direct provisions for Management Quota, but you may consult verified admission agencies, if there is a roite to VIT Vellore through Donation/NRI Quota/Direct Admission.
