veterinary doctor salary.if I do veterinary in bombay veterinary college?
Dear Aspirant ,
In govt sector
As a academician : Will be near 50000/month (Off course u need PG + NET clearance)(In his initial service period)
As a Vet Asst. Surgeon : Will be the same but some thousands less (45000 nearly). But u get to Practice in your locality which will earn u at most places almost same as ur salary or on a higher side. (Even people in academics too Practice medicine (really well) but very less doctors do)(In his initial service period)
In research as JRF/SRF : 15000 - 25000 (depends on ur funding agency). Off course its just not permanent as most doctors get this a stipend while in their PG studies.
In Private sectors:
30000- 35000 for Freshers is common. Also depends on the industry they choose (Dairy/Poultry ) Once u get your name and experience u can dictate u terms literally.
As a private practitioner : In metros with an established practice there are docs who really do well like in some lakhs and there are people who just make as much as a Govt doc/Asst. Prof.
Vets in Business: Ya Docs who run their own farm sector/ meat processing sectors/ Animal feed manufacturing sectors they make in crores. (off course they all struggle initially).
Hope this information helps you ,
Thank you .
