Department of Physiotherapy is the youngest department of Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag. It is under faculty of Medicine established in 2015 to start new Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) course. There is an ever increasing gap for the medical science intermediate students to choose their profession except for MBBS and BDS. This new course of Physiotherapy (BPT) is launched to cover up this gap.

Physiotherapy is a health care profession primarily concerned with back or neck pain, posture problem, joint or muscle pain. Arthritis, burns, Geriatrics, orthopaedic, neurology, sports injury etc using nondrug approach.

The duration of BPT course shall be for 4½ years, which shall include lectures, practical and six month internship after passing all the exams.

Talking about placements not much companies come for recruitment.

Physiotherapy career can rise to a variety of challenging & interesting jobs in the health care system. You can also get a doctorate degree & work in the research field. In future, there is a wide scope of physiotherapy. It is a wide range of career option in India as well as in abroad.

It is a good career option but its totally your choice to choose the field.

Yes, Vinoba Bhave University hzaribagh jharkhand is good option for phsiotherapy as it is MHRD NIRF(101-150) , NAAC B++ accredited ranked state university  and also a member of Association of Indian Universities(AIU),Delhi, and Association of Commonwealth Universities(ACU),London.
