While the cut-offs for seats this year is not out yet, previous years trends show that seats for MCA in the Vellore and Chennai campus usually close out in ranks under 500. Unfortunately your rank is not good enough for these campuses, however, you may be able to secure a seat at the Bhopal campus if you are interested in taking admission there.

Your rank should be around 500 to get admission in Vellore VIT for Mtech CSE.
Based on your rank , you can try admission in VIT chennai. However, you may face a bit of difficulty and competition from the category students.

Your rank in VITMEE is not that good. With that rank it becomes very difficult to get a seat in Mtech CSE. But every year the number of students taking admission changes so you might get a seat. Also you might get in VIT Chennai and amravati campus from category 2 & 3. So please apply for the counseling process and try to get a seat.

According to your VITMEE rank you might get a seat in VIT Chennai u nder category 1 and 2 for Mtech in cse. The cutoffs actually depend in the number of seats that are applied. Being a private University, every year the number of students applying for it varies so it becomes hard to say a exact figure. But according to my research about previous year cutoffs you might get in VIT Chennai.

Category 1 students need to secure rank within 200-300 in order to get seat in visit .
Category 1 closing rank for Embedded would be around 900 - 1000 .
So with a rank of 1608 , chances of admission into either of the two are bleak .

As much I remember candidates with 1000+ rank were called for counselling last year. So I'd have to say that it's going to be hard for you get into VIT. But don't loose hope.
