VITMEE 2019 is an entrance examination of Vellore Institute of Technology for Post Graduate Courses. Thus, the aspiring candidates who want to take admission in VIT have to prepare for VITMEE and crack the same. Even the GATE qualified candidates need to appear and qualify the examination. 

This is a Post Graduate level entrance examination and only for admission in VIT campuses. Therefore we need to know all about the examination we will cover the following points:

1. Know the nature of VITMEE – Difficulty level, topic-wise weightage analysis and the exam pattern.
2. Know the Syllabus

VITMEE 2019 Exam Pattern

• Mode of examination: Online (CBT)
• Number of Questions in each paper: 100 (80 will be from the chosen technical subject and 20 will be from English communication)
• Maximum Marks: 100
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Marking Scheme: +1 for each correct answer and no negative marks for wrong answers
• Questions are very easy as compared to GATE. Manage to get a rank of 1500 atleast to get seat in good branch.

If you are good with your fundamental basics you can easily crack it. Most of the questions would be from almost every subject in your UG course such as C,JAVA,NETWORKING etc.And some questions would be from integration and differentiation and other normal aptitude questions.

Once you are through with your exam and got nice ranking count yourself in as an VITIAN as for the interview(much as counseling) they'll just check your documents and ask you for campus selection.

Dear Janaki, if you apply for VITMEE and qualify in VITMEE because you have already qualified in GATE, you will be eligible for GATE Scholarship. Admissions done before or after GATE are not allowed for scholarship. Creamy layer candidates who have qualified under OBC category also are not eligible for this scholarship.
