The placement of both the colleges is not that great.However VESIT provides placements in comparison to GECA to some greater extent.Almost 60 percent of students get placed in IT companies and only 10-12 percent in core companies.. Accenture is the top recruiter of the college followed by Capgemini and LTI. The salary package stays between 7-3.5 LPA.Faculties and infrastructure are almost same according to me.

VESIT has surrendered institute quota seats to the Centralized admission process (DTE). 100% admissions are through the Centralized admission process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.
