if I fail in maths class 12 on wbchse i can give re exams on maths for next year but certificate got pass
Dear Raj <
If you are fail in one subjects math in WBCHSE this year then no need to wait for 1 year might be this year onwards because mostly re exam conducted after 45 days of result published but due to covid 19 it will take some time but they conduct re exam only for those people who are failed in 1 subject and you will appear this exam and if you will pass this exam then you will get pass certificate .
I hope it will helpful
Thanks
Does WBCHSE conduct compartmental exam the same year or the next year? I failed in maths but I want to do Btech. I want to know when WBCHSE conduct its compartmental exam? Do I need to drop a year for it?
Hello,
In WBCHSE the examination is around 500 marks. But there is an option to choose 6 six subjects and opted the examination with that. From those six subjects the best 5 subjects which hold ypur best marks can added in ypur total number abd that will be your final subject combination. So if you have six subjects and failed in only one and rest of the others have good marks then it is not a big deal. Because math is not in your subject combination then. And there is no problem to take engineering for further studies. Because only you need to have 75% in your boards for engineering and rest is depend on your entrance results.
Thank you.

is wbchse and ncert books are same?
Hello,
No not at all that WBCHSE and NCERT books are same. Actually now for 12th level the syllabus of wbchse, isc and cbse all are same so thats why contents are same. But NCERT books are more relevant and efficient in all the subjects. The conceptual thoughts is going deeper in a nice way. If one can able to complete ncert chapters then it is easy for the student to do his or her preparation of borads and jee or neet in a parallel way. In tgat case ncert biology is very much important for NEET.
So try to have ncert books with your text books.
Hope for the best.
Thank you.

Hello,
First of all congratulations on completion of your 12th with nice score. Now in order to get admission in Umesh Chandra College ( UCC ) a candidate needs atleast 60% in 12th and here in your case you got 72% overall and if we count best 4 subjects your total stands 75%.
So yes it is possible that you got admission in UCC. I am mentioning here some requirements you need to have:
*No specific entrance exam
*Minimum of 60% in 12th of best 4.
* 50% minimum in English in 12th
Fees for b.com honours is 3770 per year and of b.com is 3600 per year.
I hope you are satisfied with the answer, all the very best for your bright career.
Thankyou..
Im studying in 12th with Arts stream, under WBCHSE board.I want to pursue psychology UG course after my 12th boards. In recent class I dont have the subject "psychology". Is it possible to pursue the UG course then? Do I need to sit in any type of entrance? If in Kolkata, then in which colleges?
The eligibility criteria for pursuing Bachelor's degree in psychology, states that the candidate must have passed class 12th with minimum 50% marks in any subject stream with English as compulsory subject form a recognised Board of education.
So, Yes. You can pursue psychology after class 12th without any problem.
Talking about the entrance criteria, most of the Colleges conduct entrance exams for admissions. Class 12th syllabus is asked, basically. So, study well.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
