is there any possibility of getting good college with 78 percentile in CAT and having 5+ years of work experience in IT.
Hi Dear,
There are many other factors like your 10th, 12th and graduation marksheet and your overall profile for final selection in any college. Also, you have not mentioned your category details, hence it is not convenient to predict anything. However, you have chances of getting into following colleges:
- Benaras Hindu university
- Chandigarh University, Chandigarh
- Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi
- Delhi School of Management, Delhi Technological University

hi , i am expecting 87 percentile in cat and i will have 2 years of work experience till this april and my graduation score is 76.80 . 10 th and 12 th marks are 81.70 and 73.50 respectively. If i get a call from KJ Somaiya, would i be able to ace it with decent GD PI ??
Hello Aspirant,
Congratulations on your CAT Percentile. You should have your pick of some very good colleges. And KJ Somaiya institute is one of them surely. According to online sources, the cut-off is somewhere around 85 percentile and you should be able to make the cut.
When it comes to 10th and 12th standard marks, most institutes have a bracket or a threshold above which they accept the marks and your marks fall within that bracket. Although a student scoring 85 above might get a bit of an edge but you can definitely make up for it with a stellar performance in GD PI rounds.
Your work experience of 2 years is an excellent advantage. 2 years is just the right amount of experience - neither too less nor too much. It ensures that you have had just the right amount of corporate experience before taking the step towards doing an MBA.
Do keep a few things in mind for the GD PI process in order to ace it (for any college)-
1. Work on your profile - Think of any situations they might put you in and prepare beforehand for all possibilities. Most students get stuck in GK and dont work thoroughly on their profile. Since you have a good workex you can expect a lot of questions from there. Know your resume inside out.
2. Be aware of current affairs and business scenario - Awareness about the world impresses panelists like nothing else.
3. Present your projects and achievements in the best light - Make sure to package everything in your profile nicely to make sure it is appealing for the panelists.
Just be confident and you should be able to sail through!
All the best!

Hello student though most of the universities in Canada recommend at least 2-3 years of work experience for MBA but it's not mandatory. Some of the top business schools in Canada offering MBA degree without work experience are as mentioned below -
- New York Institute of Technology
- Thompson Rivers University
- Cape Breton University
- The Sprott School of Business
- University of Windsor
I request you to please help me with the college in which you're willing to pursue MBA so that I can check and provide you the exact information about admission process and eligibility requirements.
Feel free to comment if you've any doubt

which college is better ISME (international school of management and excellence) banglore or Icfai business school Hyderabad in terms of placements? I have three years of work experience in leading mnc with a decent package , wanting to move to management side.
Hey!
As per the reviews, ISME(International school of management excellence),Banglore has better placement reviews than ICFAI business school Hydrabad for MBA. However, both colleges provide good placement and internship opportunities to students in the companies such as Amazon, Byju,Inteva, Refinitiv,Tolaram, CRISIL and many more. I got 69% in 10th 63% in 12th and 99.72 % in graduation 98 percentile in cat with no work experience .... is it possible to get iim Bangalore
Hello,
Your graduation marks is good and CAT percentile also good. But your 10th and 12th marks is low. Minimum marks is 50% in 10th and 12th to join MBA but some colleges notice also your 10th and 12th marks also. And IIM Bangalore one of them. They want minimum 90% marks in 10th and 12th class. This criteria its not fullfill from you. So i don't think any chances are occure for you. But you can try for it. I'll suggest you some another college name below-
