The highest salary stood at Rs. 11 lakhs and average salary was Rs.7.32 lakhs in placement 2017 for MBA-RM at Xavier School of Rural Management. The placement season witnessed participation of companies cutting across all the established major sectors of Research and Consulting, Financial Inclusion, Development, FMCG, Co-operatives, CSR and Banking & Financial Services Institutions.
The best aspect of the course is that it provides on the field pedagogy through RLLE program. XSRM offers flagship events like Gramotsava which is organized every year in different villages and is a 12 years old legacy, where you can implement your marketing skills, get an exposure to rural market and get an opportunity to take up a live project! Also as a part of the Rural Living and Livelihood Experience (RLLE) you get a chance to stay in a village for 45 days which is an extensive learning process.
Any answers pls? I am really confused about whether I will get a call from XUB or not?
Hello Allwyn,
Based on this score you should have a pretty good chance to get a call from XIMB HR programme. I would suggest you to prepare for WAT PI round. You can also check your other possibilities with NMAT Pathfinder Tool.
XIMB bhubaneshwar cutoff for HR courses is 90th percentile that is
190–200( For HRM)
This cut-off is used just for shortlisting candidates. You still have to go through all other processes after shortlisting to get into respective schools.
since you got 203 marks you hold a good chances of getting salected .
Based on this score the chances are less to get HR program but you might have the chance to get a call for RM & SRM program from XIMB.

Through NMAT, 180+ you may expect.
All the best.
Feel free to ask any questions.
Hi Ray,
XIMB is one of the most renowned B-schools in India, therefore, admission to this institute is also equally tough. Based on the previous year cutoffs and the difficulty level of 2019's paper which was said to be between moderate to diffucult, the expected cutoff/percentile can be expected to vary more positively, that is, the relative percentile to your XAT score can be higher. However, this is just a speculation therefore, I request you to kindly consider it likewise.
But for your reference, the previous year's CAT and XAT cutoffs were 92+ for both the exams. Therefore, I think it will be difficult to get a call from XIMB.
However, with your NMAT score, again according to previous year eligibility, you can expect (maybe) NMIMS Bangalore and Hyderabad Campus.
I hope this will give you some idea and probably help you out, please contact me for any more queries.
NMAT cutoff is around 195-200 for XIMB HR programme so based on this score you should have the chance to get a call from XIMB HR. If you want to check your other possibilities then you can use NMAT Pathfinder Tool.
