which college is best among IMI BBSR and XIM Bhubaneswar
IMI and XIM bahut comes under one of the top 40 business schools.
Comparison between both is quite difficult they both stands on the same level but we still have to compare then we can compare it on the basis of placement ,ranking and fee structure there is a slight difference in rating, the rating of XIM is good that's why there is a very good package placement and that's why the fee structure is high in this.
Best of luck.
I have got 93.79 in CAT, and will get a call from XIMB. My 10 and 12 is 90+ and Graduation(2017) is 82, also I have 28 months experience in HR in Chinese MNC, I am unsure about the placements in XIMB (as I expoect minimum 20 LPA), should I drop this year ? Next year it will be 40 months exp(Gen Ctg)
But with your scores you can also try XISS Ranchi as the academics and the placement scenario is absolutely same for HR but the fees for the course is 10 lakhs. The average compensation package offered there is nearly 9-10 lakhs with the highest package being 26 lakhs offered by Flipkart.

xim Bhuvneshwar admission procedure and suiitabiility
Hi Shanta,
I hope I am the right person to give you this information since I am pursuing MBA in HRM from Xavier University. Xavier Institute of Management is the institute under Xavier University and has the authority to provide specialisations like Finance, Marketing, Operations, Analytics and IT-Systems. Human Resource Management comes under the umbrella of Xavier School of Human Resource Management(XAHR). Same is the case with Sustainability Management, Rural Management and MBF. They have their separate schools.X-UMG is now being changed to XAHS or Xavier School for Human Settlements.
Now coming to the fee structure:
- BM-20 Lakhs (excluding hostel and other charges).
- HRM-20 Lakhs (excluding hostel and other charges).
- RM-17 lakhs(excluding hostel and other charges).
The exams that are accepted for admission are:
- CAT
- XAT
- NMAT
- X-GMT
The cutoff for the BM course lies at 91 percentile whereas for HR it is 85+. For RM course it’s 70+ percentile. However, these are the cut off percentile only for the Non-Odisha candidates. There is a 50% reservation for the Domicile candidates and the cut-offs are also lower for them.
Coming to the placements:
BM, HR and RM are the flagship courses that were taught under XIMB previously and have very good quality placements till date. The average for BM goes to 12+ lakhs per annum whereas for HR it goes above 11+ lakhs per annum. For RM, it is 7.5+lakhs per annum. There is also a gurantee of 100 percent placement almost every year.
The procedure for application is after you get all your results, you have to go to the website, fill the necessary application form. Then you have to submit your scores and pay the requisite amount online. After that based upon the criteria, you will be called for GD/PI rounds and based upon the suitability you will be granted “Selected/Not Selected” status.
I hope I have been able to solve your query. All the best!!!
